How to Consign or Donate

Consignments

  • The registration fee for consignors is $20 per calendar year.

  • We accept consignments from 10-11:45am Monday-Friday.

  • Please limit consignments to a maximum of 10 items per visit and no more than two visits per week (i.e. 20 items per week - 10 wearable, 10 other).

    • See below for items we do and do not accept.

    • All items must be in good condition.

    • We accept no more than 3 blouses and 2 pairs of shoes per visit.

    • We may occasionally temporarily limit the number of items we accept in certain categories in order to manage store space and inventory.

    • Please bring your donations in small bags or boxes that can be easily carried by our staff.

    • All items are left at your own risk - we are not responsible for lost, stolen and broken items.

  • Goods are priced per mutual agreement. On occasion we may run special discount promotions if we have an abundance of certain items. With your consignment, you give permission for your items to be included in these promotions.

  • Consignors receive 50% of the sale price for items that sell within four weeks. Consignors may take back any unsold items at any point during those four weeks.

  • After four weeks, unsold items become the property of The Opportunity Shop. A receipt for a charitable donation may be requested for items not sold or picked up.

  • Consignors may request a check when they reach $100 in sales ($50 in profits). Checks are generally issued at the end of each month. Consignors must pick up their checks at least once per year.
